Prize giving in Mannar

Murunkan and Chettikulam in Mannar celebrated, Christmas, the birth of Jesus Christ, with a prize-giving ceremony facilitated by Rev. Dr. S. Chandrakumar, Co-ordinator of Cultural Affairs in the Vanni District. Picture shows Chief Guests Kithsiri Athulathmudali and members of his family, Rev Ravi Murugupillai, Superintendent of Ministers of the Methodist Church in the Mannar Murunkan circuit and several others participating in the event. School books and other essentials were distributed to hundreds of students from the district.
