TNA mandated to seek a solution – Sumanthiran
Tamil National Alliance (TNA) Spokesman and Jaffna
District Parliamentarian, M. A. Sumanthiran is of the view, given the
fact that Tamils have repeatedly given overwhelming mandates to the
party to work for a just solution to their problems, it would be
appropriate that a lasting solution to the issue comes from the TNA.

Parliamentarian, Dinesh Gunawardena, who believes in the paramount
importance of preserving the identities of different communities when
drafting a new constitution, says devolution should be considered only
after a dialogue with the groups demanding devolution. "Following a
model of another country won't help us," he says.
