ComBank provides wheel-chair ramps

An access ramp at a Commercial Bank branch.

The Commercial Bank of Ceylon has made 130 branches accessible to differently-abled customers.

The Bank has completed construction work on wheel-chair ramps at these branches, facilitating access to customer areas and automated teller machines (ATMs) under this project.

Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director, Commercial Bank, S. Renganathan said, "We believe that the widest possible cross-section of the community must have access to our branches and hope to expedite the construction of ramps as the project progresses." The bank pays attention to the needs of all customers including differently-abled customers who are an important section of the bank's clientele.

The only Sri Lankan bank to be ranked among the Top 1000 banks of the world for five consecutive years, Commercial Bank operates a network of 246 branches, and a network of 618 ATMs in Sri Lanka. The Bank was ranked the most valuable private sector brand in Sri Lanka in 2014.
