Fashion Bug, one of Sri Lanka's leading retail clothing chains with
over 16 show rooms islandwide, will shortly launch, 'Ethnic Fusion', the
custom-designed Sari Counter at their Katubedda outlet.
A dazzling array of Saris, Shawlars, Shalwar materials, Kurtis and
Shawls will be available the counter, which will be a designated zone
within each branch to identify and highlight the ethnic wear available
at all Fashion Bug outlets.
"The objective is to showcase the saris and shalwars available at
Fashion Bug since the majority of the people in Colombo are unaware of
the dazzling casual wear and party wear saris, we have in store, " said
Director Fashion Bug, Shabier Subian.
The
gala launch will see Deputy Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister's
Office, Rosy Senanayake as the Chief Guest, while Guests of Honour will
include Beautician Ramani Fernando, Designer Yolanda Aluwihare, Film
Stars Sabeetha and Sachini Ayendra, Singer Umaria, Designer and
Choreographer Lou Ching Wong, Hair stylists Ramzi Rahaman and Gerald
Solomons, amongst others.
A
fashion show which will showcase Fashion Bug's new collection of Saris,
Lehenga's and Shalwars, covering 6 segments will be choreographed by
Brian Kerkoven.
A 15% discount on Saris, Shalwars, Shalwar materials, Kurtis and
Shawls will be available on January 30 to all shoppers exclusively at
the Katubedda outlet.
