Nissan NP300 Navara wins award
The new Nissan NP300 Navara won the International Pick-up Award 2016
in Lyon, France in November. The latest edition of the Navara fought off
stiff competition from Mitsubishi and Ford to win the award, being
judged on off-road and on-road performance.
The NP300 Navara was put through a rigorous international pick-up
testing process and won this award due to its competency as a workhorse
giving customers value for money, a company spokesman said.
Combining crossover-inspired comfort and refinement while maintaining
its acclaimed off-road ability, durability and load capacity, the NP300
Navara has new features including a more robust chassis, a five-link
rear suspension for the Dual Cab pick-up models and a load bed, which is
67mm longer than the previous.
Corporate Vice President, Nissan LCV BU, Philippe Guérin-Boutaud
said, "This prestigious award celebrates Nissan's 80 years of pick-up
expertise. Rigorous testing by International Pick-up of the Year
illuminated the tough and innovative character of the Navara." |
