Same date for Easter every year?

Churches and religious groups around the world are keen on setting the date for Easter so that it could be celebrated at the same time every year.

The Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby said churches around the world are exploring the possibility of setting a date.

Currently Easter is celebrated on the first Sunday following the spring equinox. This means that the date can sometimes be as early as March 20 or as late as April 19.

In the UK, a Bill was passed in 1928 for Easter Sunday to be fixed on the first Sunday after the second Saturday in April.

However, this has not been the case and Easter has remained variable, determined by the moon's cycle.

Obama wants to be Han Solo

US President Barack Obama said the Star Wars character he liked most was Han Solo.

When asked in a recent interview which character he would pick, he said: "I gotta go with Han Solo, he is a little bit of a rebel".

The President said he hadn't seen the new Star Wars film adding that his favourite of the series was the very first film.

Obama also outlined how a dog should wear trousers - the debate that is currently dividing the internet.

Obama thought that they would just wear them on two legs, saying that there was 'too much fabric' on the four-legged option.

Twitter may increase word limit

Social media giant Twitter may increase its word limit to 1,000 characters.

The announcement was made by technical mag 'Re/code'.

The magazine said Twitter was to launch the service in a few months. Apparently, the company is testing a version of the product which displayed 140-character-long tweets but expanded to reveal more content when clicked.

The news has not gone down well on Twitter. Some users have expressed disappointment to the new idea with the hashtag #beyond140.
