Chief of Defence Staff visits Thailand

Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Air Chief Marshal Kolitha Gunatilleke visited the Kingdom of Thailand recently on the invitation of the Chief of Defence Forces, Royal Thai Armed Forces , Gen. Sommai Kaotira.

Gunatilleke also called on Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister of Thailand, Gen. Prawit Wongsuwon.

During discussions, the Chief of Defence Staff emphasised the importance of sharing military experiences, intelligence and working together towards disaster mitigation and management in the region, and global terrorist issues.
