Anaesthesiologists Congress -focus on safety and knowledge
The 32nd Annual Academic Congress of the College of
Anaesthesiologists and Intensivists was held recently in Colombo
focusing on improving outcome through safety and knowledge.

Ceyoka provided valuable hands-on demonstrations by experts at its
trade stall for attendees to experience the latest advances in enhancing
patient care and saving lives with its brand partners Edwards
Lifesciences, which manufactures heart valves and hemodynamic monitoring
equipment, Fukuda Denshi - cardiovascular and respiratory systems and
Fresenius Medical Care, a supplier of innovative products for treating
dialysis patients.
The trade stall was similar to a hospital ICU setting and provided
visitors interactive simulation focusing on education and information on
innovative new products.

West India, Vimal Soni said, "Edwards Lifesciences is honoured to be
present at the annual sessions of the College of Anaesthesiologists and
Intensivists. We provide the local anaesthesia community with valuable
information and educational support for enhanced surgical recovery."
The stall also showcased Fukuda Denshi products such as premium
bedside monitors, ultra sound scanners and ECG machines.
The Japanese Government through its development arm, the Japan
International Cooperation Agency (JICA) recently presented several
Fukuda Denshi ECG and patient monitors for use in government hospitals.
Ceyoka's participation and contribution at the Annual Congress will
assist those in the practice of anaesthesia to acquire and learn the
newest techniques and obtain critical information to better serve
patients
President, College of Anaesthesiologists and Intensivists of Sri
Lanka, Dr. Kanishka Indraratna said, "When you talk about sponsorships,
it is more important look at it from an educational point of view, and
Ceyoka has been helpful during the past three years. We have good
relationships with them and they have helped us to hold several
