Independence with a British School flavour

The British School in Colombo celebrated the 68th Anniversary of Independence with pomp and pizzazz at the School premises. Celebrations began with the hoisting of the National flag by the Senior School Head Prefects followed by a speech by the Principal who spoke about the elements of the National Flag.

There were also dances, singing and performances that showcased national unity and culture by the both Senior and Junior School students.
