Sky Media Network trailblazers radio infotainment

Sky Media Network (Pvt) Ltd, will unveil plans to revolutionise the FM radio experience for listeners in Sri Lanka.

A member of the Infotainment Group of Companies, it launched operations in 2008 and rolled out Red 107.8, Sitha FM and Tamil FM radio stations in February this year.

Sky Media Network's channels reach English, Sinhala and Tamil listeners island-wide with fresh and inspiring content. Equipped with the latest digital technology, modern transmission equipment and state-of-the-art broadcasting studios, the company has established a strong presence in the industry within a short span of time. The channels can also be accessed live via the World Wide Web and Facebook.

Chairman, Sky Media Network, Niranga Hettiarachchi said, "Our channels come as an answer to the Sri Lanka's quest for quality entertainment with fair and balanced information. The products are world-class, but catered specifically to the local taste, served in English, Sinhala and Tamil, and has been designed to fill a clear void that exists in the market, ensuring high audience engagement."
