Dhoni swaps bat with Golf Club ahead of knockout clash with Australia

India take on Australia in their final World T20 Super 10 game on Sunday at Mohali to decide which of the two teams go through to the semifinals. Chandigarh: Looking relaxed ahead of their World T20 knockout clash against Australia on Sunday, Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni took some time out to play golf along with Rohit Sharma and team director Ravi Shastri.

While all the action on the cricket field was taking place in Mohali with Australia playing Pakistan in a group encounter, nearly 12 km away, 'Captain Cool' was practicing his golf swing at the Chandigarh golf club. Dhoni, wearing a stubble, was smartly dressed in his golf attire and a pair of blue aviators.

Dhoni, who led his team to a nailbiting one-run win over Bangladesh, elegantly swung the club. Sharma and Shastri wore a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. The Indian skipper looked relaxed and confident ahead of Sunday's match.

The Indian team will be having a three-hour practice session at the IS Bindra PCA stadium on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Jalandhar-based Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh completed 18 years of playing international cricket on Friday.

Harbhajan made his Test debut against Australia in Bengaluru on March 25, 1998.He has 417 wickets from 103 matches Tests, and has played 236 ODIs and 28 T20 internationals.On the occasion, Harbhajan was wished by his teammates and he responded by thanking all.
