Glitz Biz Quiz 2016 for Mercantile sector corporates

Glitz Biz Quiz, a corporate quiz competition organised for companies in the mercantile sector will be held on Thursday, April 21, from 3 p.m. at the Hilton Colombo Residence Organised by Dashing Events for the fourth consecutive year, Glitz Biz Quiz attracts nearly 50 of Sri Lanka's top corporates every year. This is a table quiz where each team comprising five members will collectively answer 50 general knowledge questions over five rounds, covering a wide area of topics including: current affairs, geography, history, world politics, creative arts, sports, entertainment and business.

In addition to selecting the Mercantile Quiz Champions of Sri Lanka, the competition will also recognise winners from various categories including Banking and Finance, IT, Telecom, BPO, Apparel, Travel and Hospitality, Advertising and Media, Shipping and Logistics, and Pharmaceuticals.

Previous winners include DFCC Bank, People's Bank and Dialog Axiata.

The creator and Quiz Master of Glitz Biz Quiz is Shehan Kumar, one of the most active and popular Quiz Masters in Sri Lanka.

Kumar is also the creator of 'Junior Masterminds' and 'Cric Quiz' while he was also one of co-creators of 'SLASSCOM Megamind' in 2012.

Quiz Master Kumar said, "We will also have many mini competitions and raffle draws to make the event more interesting."

Registrations for Glitz Biz Quiz 2016 will be limited to the first 40 teams. Event management company, Dashing Events, handle a wide variety of events including corporate launches, conferences, get-togethers, children's parties and weddings.

The company organised several quiz programs in the recent past.
