Wickramarachchi Opticians opens branch in Wellawatte

Wickramarchchi Opticians and Wickramarachchi Institute of Speech and Hearing (WISH) opened a branch in Wellawatte recently to mark its 40th anniversary. The outlet is equipped to provide the entire gamut of services offered by the leading hearing care and audiology related services provider, the company said in a press release.

Chairman of the Wickramarachchi Group, Mihira Wickramarachchi said, "Throughout four decades Wickramarachchi has become a household name not only in Sri Lanka but also globally for the quality of vision and hearing care that we have provided."

"Our products include globally-renowned brands such as the recently introduced Google glasses. Out advanced hearing institute is on par or sometimes better than those in Western countries. At this important milestone in our company's history, we look forward to extending our services to more customers as we grow our network of outlets," he said.

The branch will serve patients needing vision care and audiology care with a complete eye testing unit, a vision therapist and an optometry specialist.Customers have the added benefit of getting their spectacle lenses fitted within two working days at the outlet.With a comprehensive after-care and repair service in place, the company provides support through trained and customer-friendly staff, the press release said.
