Khairiya Girls' School gets new building

The new four-storied building of Khairiya Girls School, Dematogoda Colombo was opened recently. Chairman of the Zam Gems Z. A. M. Refai donated the building which consists of twenty- one classrooms, two science laborotories, a computer laboratory and an auditorium.

Here Z.A.M. Refai opens the building. Principal Nazeera Hassanar presented a memento to him at the opening.

Minister of City Planning and Water Supply Rauff Hakeem, State Minister of National Integration and Reconciliation A.H.M. Fowzie, Western Province Chief Minister Isura Devapriya, Education Minister Ranjith Somawansa, parliamentarian Mujeebur Rahuman, principal Mrs. Nazeera Hassanar, Western Provincial Councillor Nowzer Fowzie, Provincial and Zonal Education Directors, parents, teachers, old girls and students were present.
