The British School in
Colombo celebrated the Avurudu season with a special assembly.
Junior and senior school students performed traditional cultural
items, including dance and folk songs. An Avurudu Pola,
organised by the PTA, featuring a range of stalls and games to
mark the Sinhala and Tamil New Year was also held. |
