Maxxis tyres go places

Maxxis one of the world’s trusted automotive tyre did not become ninth largest tyre company in the world overnight. It was set up in Yuanlin, Taiwan in 1967. At the beginning only produced bicycle tyres. As the company of bigger; it extended its reach beyond Asia. It expanded into new market segments, producing tyre products for a variety of vehicles.

The company employs 30,000 people, and its products are distributed to customers in 180 countries. Have five other research facilities in Taiwan, China, the United States, and the Netherlands.

Maxxis’ promotional efforts include sponsorship of riders, drivers, teams and events across a range of sports. Major sponsorships in recent times include; Australian Open, the New York Yankees baseball team in the United States and Barclays Premier League teams Liverpool, Aston Villa and Sunderland in England.

Maxxis has received the Ford Motor Company’s highest honour for a supplier, the Gold Award, in Dearborn, Michigan.

The award recognized Maxxis’ outstanding contribution to Ford’s success through commendable quality, delivery and cost.

The Gold Award is the top honour possible among Ford’s World Excellence Awards, which also include the Silver Award next Recognition of Achievement Award.

Maxxis has supplied original equipment (OE) tyres to Ford in Taiwan since 1991.

In 1994, the company was awarded Ford’s Q1 certification, and Maxxis currently supplies tyres to Ford in Taiwan, China, North America, Mexico, Argentina and Brazil.
