Poems
Peacock
Beautiful feathers
and a pretty dance
At night on a huge tree
It is an enemy to all snakes
Looks quickly here and there
I wonder if the peacock
could fly in the sky.

Stars
Twinkling at night
In the black, dark night
Like tiny diamonds
Which we value so much
At night before I go to sleep
I look out of my window
I'm waiting for a star to fall
To make my little wish

Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka was known as the 'Pearl of the Indian Ocean'
Rubber, tea and coconuts are the main crops
In my country
The longest river is Mahaweli
And
Not everywhere.
Kovils and Churches
And many temples are there

Mother
I have many guardians
But my mom is the one
I like the most
She is short and fair
with straight hair
She is cheerful and friendly
Hard working and shy
She helps me with my studies
She is a creative thinker
She is usually punctual
She can work with others
She is happy always
Mom, wherever I go
you have to be behind me
When I was a small child
You taught me good habits
As my first teacher
You are the one I like the most
Life has no blessing like my mom
Spirits are ageless
Dreams are endless
Memories are timeless
My mom is priceless
