Duvindu Silva excels for Sanath Jayasuriya Academy

Promsing all-rounder Duvindu Silva excelled for the Sanath Jayasuriya Cricket Foundation (SJCF) with a brilliant all-round effort in their match against S Thomas’ College Bandarawela played at Bandarawela recently. The Under-13 captain of the Foundation, Silva led the side to a 2-1 victory in their three T 20 games.

The opener top scored with 39 runs and became the highest run getter of the series. The skipper captured nine wickets as the leading wicket-taker bowling off spin. Apart from Silva, all-rounders Sahan Vumukthi and Rahul Rashmika contributed for the series win while Sasindu Premaratne took seven wickets.
