IIT offers MBA from Canterbury Christ Church University, UK

The Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT), the unmatched pioneer in providing world renowned higher education in Sri Lanka, will be offering a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Canterbury Christ Church University, UK.

The Canterbury Christ Church University MBA offered atIIT is a two year programme which is specially tailored to provide both theoretical and practical knowledge needed for experienced corporate professionals and senior managerial personnel. This MBA programme will contribute immensely towards a student's career development and will prepare students to anticipate senior managerial and organizational leadership positions. Students following this MBA will be empowered with all the professional business administration skills and will be groomed into being tactical and strategic decision makers.

One of the most unique features of thisMBA is that it is designed to be Industry oriented and provides a future-ready course content and structure which will empower a student to handle any senior managerial role. This MBA will provide students the opportunity to learn General Management skills which will advance career prospects within and outside the organization. Students following this programme will have the opportunity to learn to be their own boss and develop vital skills in entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, strategic management, organization behavior and operations.

TheMBA is awarded following the successful completion of seven taught modules, and completion of a Management Dissertation. The core modules comprise of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Financial Management, Marketing, Organizational Behaviour, Research Methods, Strategic Management and finally -the Management Dissertation. The optional modules for the MBA include Business Ethics, Business Simulation, International Management and Operations and Project Management.

This programme will be conducted by a senior panel of lecturers who are selected from academia and industry to ensure a comprehensive and dynamic learning experience which is assured to enhance a student's knowledge, skills and expertise. This MBA which is exclusively offered at IIT is developed to meet global challenges.

Apart from the regular course curriculum, this MBA will also include guest lectures by renowned entrepreneurs, professionals and thought leaders.

Interaction with renowned corporate figures will pave the way for students to comprehend real world case studies which will inspire students to take a leap forward towards career progression.

This MBA which is the first of its kind in Sri Lankawill providevalue added workshops and courses which will enhance a student's knowledge in specific subject areas and will also help a student to put to practice the theoretical knowledge gained while following this programme. IIT will organize workshops such as Blue Ocean Strategy which was recently attended by a large gathering of professionals who were representing several industries and organizations.
