OIHL launches Diploma in Reconciliation and Peace Building

The Oblate Institute of Higher Learning (OIHL) launched a Diploma course in 'National Reconciliation and Peace Building' for those who are keen to make a contribution to peace building in Sri Lanka.

The first certificate course will commence from October 1 to November 19, the second from November 26 to January 28, the third from February 11 to April 1 and the fourth from April 22 to June 10.

The courses are conducted by renowned local and international lecturers on conflict mitigation and transformation, inter religious dialogue for peace and reconciliation and psychological counselling.

Classes during the first week will be held daily and thereafter weekly at the OIHL, Centre for Society and Religion (CSR) 281, Deans Road Colombo 10.

OIHL promotes humanitarian values and knowledge to serve a post-war community in creative ways to respond to contemporary needs in a secular society.

It offers practical and professional training adhering to globally recognized standards by partnering with local and international organizations and create opportunities for personal and social advancement.
