VirtusaPolaris included in Magic Quadrant
VirtusaPolaris, a provider of information technology (IT) consulting
and outsourcing services, announced that it has been positioned by
Gartner, Inc. in the Niche Players' quadrant of the Magic Quadrant for
IT Services for Communications Service Providers, Worldwide. The report,
by analysts Jouni Forsman, Norbert J. Scholz and Amresh Nandan published
in July 2016, evaluated VirtusaPolaris among Communications Service
Providers (CSPs).
The Magic Quadrant report evaluated 17 vendors who have expertise in
discrete and multi-year engagements around CSPs' operational IT in a
multi-regional context. The assessment takes into account the vendors'
current offerings and overall strategies, as well as their future
initiatives and product roadmaps.
According to Gartner, "The market for IT services for CSPs is
evolving as CSPs' operational environment changes. Cost-efficiency is
important, but the focus is clearly on enabling additional business
benefits for CSPs in the spirit of bimodal IT. This Magic Quadrant helps
communications service provider CIOs identify and evaluate suppliers to
meet their operational IT service needs."
Executive Vice President, global head of Telecoms, VirtusaPolaris,

experience and the rapid proliferation of content stem from our industry
