Indian Commerce Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will arrive in Sri Lanka tomorrow on
a three-day official visit.
Diplomatic sources said this is a reciprocal visit, following International
Trade Minister Malik Samarawickrema’s visit to India in July this year. During
her stay, a round of vital talks between her and Minister Samarawickrema will be
held. She is also due to meet the economic and commerce leadership of the
government, the sources added.
She will be accompanied by a delegation of business leaders who will meet a
group of local CEOs in Colombo. The Indian Minister is expected to return to
Delhi on September 28. |
