'Sound of Silence'

An exhibition of paintings, titled 'Sound of Silence' by Anil
Atapattu will be held at J.D.A.Perera gallery, No 46 Horton Place,
Colombo 7 on October 4 and 5 from 9.00 a.m to 7.00 p.m.
Anil Atapattu is a well known artist in the field of visual arts.
SOUND OF SILENCE is his 2nd solo exhibition. He held his first solo
exhibition "End of the Dark" in 2014. He mainly focuses his concept to
express his inner feeling in way of abstract expressionism. His last
exhibition was successfully attracted by the art lovers of locally and
internationally. He has participated many group exhibitions locally and
internationally and organised exhibitions as a member of the art and
sculpture panel, Department of cultural affairs.
He is a graduate of Fine arts. Presently he is a school teacher and a
member of the visual arts panel of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs.
