Cricket to celebrate UN World Tourism Day!

Department of Economics, University of Colombo and its Tourism Study Programme - Executive Diploma of Tourism Events and Hotel Management is organizing a Cricket Carnival for the first time, to celebrate the United Nations World Tourism Day in Sri Lanka. This ceremony will be held on September 25th , 2016 at the Colombo University Grounds from 07am to 5 pm , under the UNWTO theme of “ Tourism for All - Promoting Universal Accessibility”. The main purpose of organizing this UN-WTO Tourism Day celebration is to provide a platform for academics and professionals to make a valuable contribution for the development of tourism in Sri Lanka through integrating and networking with the key stakeholders of the industry. 32 teams will be participating for the Cricket Carnival, a number of sponsors are contributing to make this event a success.
