The vacancy of Commissioner of Colombo Municipal Council, Lankapuwath said quoting Chief Minister of the Western Province Reginald Cooray. Minister has made these comments when inquired about the trade union action taken against CMC delaying the appointment of Badrani Jayawardene as the commissioner of CMC.
The Mayor of the CMC had warned the employees against their action at a time the CMC is facing severe financial crisis.
