A senior female officer attached to the Ministry of Nation Building was shot dead by suspected LTTE terrorists in Kalawanchikudi, Batticaloa today.
According to Police spokesman SSP Ranjith Gunasekara, an unidentified gunman shot Logeshwaran Premalatha, a senior engineer of the Nation Building Ministry at her residence this morning. Batticaloa Police is continuing further investigations
