The Eelam Revolutionary Organisation of Students (EROS) leader Rajanathan Prabhakaran charged that the LTTE was responsible for the current humanitarian crisis that has emerged due to the displacement of civilians in Kilinochchi and Wanni at large.
The EROS leader who is currently based in Switzerland and now in Colombo to look into his party matters told the Observer Online that the LTTE has devastated the lives of thousands of innocent civilians in the Wanni by carrying out a losing battle with the Security Forces.
The expatriate Tamils unlike in the past are furious over the outfit?s adamant attitude of continuing with the war and not engaging in talks or safeguarding the innocent civilians.
The support that the LTTE enjoyed in foreign countries has now dried up drastically with ninety per cent of the expatriate Tamils expressing dismay over the LTTE?s arrogance in ignoring the peace initiatives.
