Sri Lanka Air Force fighter jets raided an LTTE bunker construction site located 2km Southeast of Puthukkudiyiruppu, in the Mullaittivu district at 9.25, this morning (Oct 15), Air Force spokesman Wing Commander Janaka Nanayakkara said.
Speaking further he said that a large number of LTTE cadres and many heavy earth moving vehicles were occupied in the targeted location when the air strike was carried out. Citing Air Force operational sources, he added that the air raid has caused heavy damages to the terrorists.
