Karuna Amman and Pillayan ironed out their differences as jointly addressed a well-attended TVMP political rally in Batticaloa today. Parliamentarian Vinayagamoorthy Muralitharan and Eastern Province Chief Minister Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan while addressing their supporters in the East, asked them to unite to beat the LTTE and liberate innocent civilians.
The Chief Minister said the TVMP will always work for the wellbeing of the Tamil community in the East as well as in North and stressed the importance of developing the Eastern Province and its people who have been rescued from the clutches of the LTTE terror rule.
