Sri Lanka Customs have seized a luxury motor car worth over seven million. Official sources told the Observer Online today that a person from Matara has attempted to smuggle to luxury diesel car imported in a container.
However, intensive scanning by the Sri Lanka Customs officials at the Colombo harbour prevented the importer from smuggling the luxury motor vehicle. Officials said the duty free value of the car is over Rs. seven million.
