<P>Twin Air raids target LTTE positions in Kilinochchi

<P>Sri Lanka Air Force fighter jets have launched two air strikes targeting LTTE positions in Kilinochchi a short-while ago. 

<P>Air Force spokesperson Wing Commander Janaka Nanayakkara told the Observer Online that the jets launched simultaneous air strikes targeting a Sea Tiger Command Centre located 1 Km West of Paranthan junction and an LTTE artillery gun position located 6km Southeast of Poonaryn. 

<P>He said that both attacks were launched at 12.50 p.m. He added the targets were engaged effectively citing operational sources.
