Sri Lanka likely to retain same team [November 22 2008]

Sri Lanka is likely to retain the same team for today's second one day international against Zimbabwe to be played at Harare Sports Club grounds. Sri Lanka have several players in reserve, all itching to get a game, including Angelo Matthews, Thilina Kandamby, Dilhara Fernando and Dammika Prasad. However, team sources said they are unlikely to make major changes to the combination until the series is won.

Hosts Zimbabwe could draft Sean Williams, their talented but temperamental all-rounder, into the starting line-up to bolster the batting order. Williams had initially pulled out of the series but made himself available in the days leading up to the contest. Sri Lanka, having won Thursday's opening game by six wickets, takes an early 1-0 lead in the five-match ODI series.
