Mihin Lanka to Kuwait

Sri Lanka’s budget airline, Mihin Lanka would be adding two destinations from to Kuwait and Baranasi from this week. CEO, Mihin Lanka, Kapila Chandrasena said that the main objective of creating budget airline, Mihin was to provide low passages to pilgrims to India and Sri Lankan workers to the Middle Eastern sector.

“We fly six days a week to Dubai and have now decided to extend three flights to Kuwait as there is a demand from Sri Lankan workers,” he said.

Chandrasena said that they would resume Buddhagaya operations from August 2 mainly to cater to the Buddhist pilgrims. “This is a weekly flight that operates on Sundays,” he said.

He said that due to good demand the airline will launch Varanasi from August 2 and this would be operated every Wednesday.
