Sri Lanka Army conducts dengue awareness programs in Jaffna

Sri Lanka Army's 52 Division has launched dengue awareness programs in the peninsula to educate the people on prevention of the disease, with the rising toll of dengue cases and deaths in Jaffna.

General Officer Commanding 52 Division, Brigadier Lal Perera has taken prompt action to organize a series of dengue awareness programs as medical authorities have warned on rapid spread of dengue in some areas of Nelliady and Valvettithurai in Jaffna, the Civil-Military Coordination Office in Jaffna said.
