Month of Ramazan begins

The Colombo Grand Mosque has announced that month of Ramazan has commenced with the sighting of the moon this evening. Muslims in Sri Lanka begin their month long fasting at dawn on Thursday (August 12), announced the Grand Mosque in Colombo. It has been decided to complete the month of SHA’BAN in 29 days.
