Murali stars in Chennai Super Kings win

Sri Lankan spinner Muttiah Muralitharan bagged two wickets for 15 runs off his four overs as his team Chennai Super Kings beat Central Districts by 54 runs in their Champions League Twenty20 tournament match played in Durban, South Africa last night.
<p>Batting first, Chennai Super Kings, helped by an unbeaten 52 by Subramaniam Badrinath, made 151 for 4 in 20 overs. In reply, the Central Districts were bowled out for 94 runs in 18.1 overs. Lakshmipathy Balaji had 3 for 20.
<p>Meanwhile, Wayamba team, representing Sri Lanka in the league, made an inauspicious start losing their opening game to Warriors by seven wickets in Port Elizabeth last night. Jeewantha KUlatunga’s 59 off 44 bals helped Wayamba to make 153 for 9 in 20 overs. Warriors made 156 for 3 in 18.2 overs to register an easy win.
