A French man and woman had entered the Sri Lankan territorial waters in a Yacht on April 15 and had not reported tot he Immigration and Emigration authorities on their arrival. They had sailed to Dondra. The couple had again sailed to Galle on September 6 and had called over at the Immigration and Emigration authorities to report their arrival. The Galle Harbor Police later took the couple into custody to be questioned. The couple will be produced before the Galle Additional; Magistrate for entering the country illegally.
