UNP legal experts study the proposed party reforms

<p>A team of UNP legal experts are studying the party reforms to include them in the UNP Constitution. 

  

<p>UNP General Secretary Tissa Attanayake said the reform proposals were being studied by the team of party legal experts – Thilak Marapana, Wijedasa Rajapaksa, K.N. Choksy and Ronald Perera – before it was put before the UNP Convention. 

  

<p>“ These proposals need to be studied to see whether they can be included in the Constitution”, he said. 

  

<p>The reform report was approved by the UNP Working Committee and the Parliamentary Group. The UNP will hold its Convention in December.
