Northern railway stations will upgrade to facilitate differently-abled people, the Department of Railways sources said.
The Commercial Superintendent of Railways, Wijaya Samarasinghe said new facilities to make the differently-abled persons move freely within the railways stations will be installed in the railway stations that under renovation.
He said several railway stations were destroyed during the Northern conflict and it was easy to introduce new facilities as these railway stations were being done now.
