Lanka introduces a new tomato ‘Lanka cherry’

<p> A new tomato variety – Lanka Cherry, which gives a high yield, has been introduced by Horticultural Crop Research and Development Institute in Gannoruwa, recently.

<p> Smaller in size and weighting eight grams, the new tomato variety would give a harvest of 17 tonnes per hectare and it has a life span of 10 to 18 days.
