The suspects arrested yesterday, during the cordon and search operation in Panadura and Mount Lavinia are being grilled by the police Narcotics Division steults to hunt down the kingpins in the drug mafia.
Police spokesman S.P. Prishantha Jayakody said that similar search operations will be carried out in future as well.
During the yesterday's operation 16 suspects were arrested and large stocks of ganja, heroin, babul, and other narcotics were recovered.
