An elephant attack on a man was reported from Kemanuwera in the Puttalama area on Friday. The victim who sustained injuries was admitted to the Puttalama hospital. She succumbed to her injuries yesterday.
The deceased have been identified as Y.M. Ratnayaka Banda, a resident of the area. Karuwelagasweva police is investigating the death. (JJ)
