No more check points in Colombo

<p>Replacing the check point system, an advanced security monitoring system to ensure the security of the Colombo will be introduced soon.

<p>Military Spokesman Major General Ubaya Medawala said all check points in the Colombo city, including in Bambalapitiya and Wellawatte, have been removed from today.

<p>He said other check points will also be removed as the security in the Colombo district has been imporved.
