Fisheries Minister meets marooned vessel's owner [October 29 2010]

Fisheries Minister Rajitha Senaratne is now in Beruwala meeting the owner of the fishing vessel Dinusha II which was miraculously found near Maldives with one survivor after being reported missing with five fishermen four months ago.

The fisheries Ministry is coordinating efforts to repair and bring back the vessel which was marooned near Seychelles after its Engine gave trouble and later drifted towards Maldives.

The vessel is now docked at one of the islets south of Male.
