A man ridding a motor cycle was shot dead by two gunmen riding a motor cycle who trailed his motor cycle. The incident took place near a market at Korathota -Welihena in the Navagamuwa.
The victim succumbed to injuries after being admitted to the Oruwela hospital. The deceased was identified was identified as S. Nanayana Priya (27) a Salesman who worked for the Mobitel company.
The suspects have not been identified. Police said motive for the killing has not been found yet. Navagamuwa police are conducting further investigations.
