The Government has declared the week from November 15 to 22 as the commemorative week for country wide celebrations to celebrate the inauguration of the second term of resident Mahinda Rajapaksa.
Island wide festivities and events have been organized to celebrate this National Event. The Cabinet Sub Committee appointed for this purpose has decided that colours of ny political party or photographs of any person other than the President should not be used for publicity purposes.
