Chinese Presidential Envoy here next week

<P>Chinese Presidential Envoy Sang Guowei will attend the inauguration
ceremony of Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa next week, Chinese
Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hong Lei  said Thursday at a regular press
conference.

<P>Sang, vice chairman of the National People’s Congress Standing
Committee, will arrive Sri Lanka on Nov. 17 as a guest of President
Rajapaksa.

<P>He will be attending President Rajapaksa’s swear  in ceremony for the
second term in office on Nov. 19, Xinhua reported.

<P>Sang will also attend the launching ceremony of Hambantota Port, which
was built by China Harbor Engineering Company.
