President to announce plans to development

<p>President  Mahinda Rajapaksa is to announce his plans for develop the
country during his second term, which starts today.
<p>He, who defeated the LTTE terrorism during his first term, plans to
make Sri Lanka the ‘Marvel of Asia’.
<p>Remarkable economic progress has been made under President Rajapaksa.
Sri Lanka recorded an economic growth rate of 8.5 percent in the
second quarter of 2010.
