Credit agreement for Northern Railway signed

<P>An agreement between Sri Lanka and India for the  construction of the
Northern Railway line was signed today.

<P>The credit agreement for USD 416 million was signed after the meeting
between President Mahinda Rajapaksa and Indian External Affairs
Minister S.M.Krishna held at the Temple Trees today.
