Novotel Citygate Hong Kong, a leading hotel in Hong Kong, has appointed experienced Sri Lankan hotelier Kumar Ellawala as its Resident Manager.
In his new capacity, Kumar will oversee the hotel day-to-day operations and focus on driving service and performance excellence.
With over 25 years of experience in the industry, working in the United Kingdom, Sri Lanka, India and Australia, Kumar’s first exposure to ACCOR began 15 years ago in 1995, working for Novotel Twin Waters Resort, Queensland, Australia and he has been with the company since then, holding various senior management positions for ACCOR and the most recently, General Manager of Mercure Crossley Hotel in Australia.
